Room Acoustics Modeling and Auralization

ARP uses 3D modeling software packages to study the room acoustic properties of internal spaces. Computer modeling provides a more accurate analysis than traditional room acoustical analysis methods in large, irregular spaces and spaces where acoustics is an important design aspect.

They are flexible tools that study different acoustic conditions allowing accelerated optimization to assess the effects of room volume, room shape and surface finishes on reverberation, echoes, speech intelligibility and activity noise levels.

The computed results are analyzed to determine where architectural and interior design changes may be required in order to achieve appropriate aural environments for the intended uses of the spaces.
